The studio lists more than 100 gel shades. Choose a subtle one or a bold one: a shellac or gel manicure is one price, $53, whichever shade you pick.
Soo, with one exception
Nails at Struktur are Soo's, with one exception: Ute offers her own gel manicure, $53 and about an hour. Everything else on this page is with Soo.
Hands and feet in one visit
A shellac or gel pedicure is $78 and booked for an hour, in the private pedicure room. Add a manicure and the visit is about two hours with Soo.
Gel and shellac manicures in Calgary
A shellac or gel manicure is $53 and booked for an hour. A French manicure in shellac or gel is $58, also an hour. On our menu, shellac and gel are one service at one price, so you do not have to choose between them to book.
The studio lists more than 100 gel shades, so a subtle shade and a bold one cost the same. Gel polish is set under a lamp instead of air-drying, so there is no waiting for it to dry before you pick up your bag. People usually choose gel over regular polish when they want a finish that wears longer. If you only want plain nails or ordinary polish, see the manicures page.
Gel and shellac pedicures
A shellac or gel pedicure is $78 and booked for an hour, in the private pedicure room. It is the one to choose for longer-wearing colour on your toes. The pedicures page has the room and the regular pedicure at $60.
Polish change, gel fill or nail extensions
These are the gel services beyond a standard manicure, with the price and booked time for each:
- Shellac or gel polish change: $31.50, booked for 30 minutes, the shortest gel booking on the menu.
- Pro gel fill: $66, booked for 90 minutes, to maintain a set you already have between full appointments.
- Nail extensions: $83, booked for 90 minutes, for added length.
If your nails are long, Soo will confirm the time before she starts. If you are not sure which of these you need, call or text 403-242-4230 and describe your nails.
Soo, and Ute's own gel manicure
Soo does the nails at Struktur, and she has more than forty years in the industry. The one exception is Ute, who offers her own gel manicure: $53 and about an hour. Ask for a gel manicure with Ute when you book. Every other nail service, including gel pedicures, fills, extensions and polish changes, is with Soo.
Looking after gel nails
Keep it simple. Avoid picking or peeling at gel, because peeling tends to take part of your own nail with it. If an edge starts to lift, call or text us rather than pulling at it. Gloves for cleaning and a little hand cream are the usual advice. Soo can tell you what to expect from your own nails.

More than 100. The shades range from subtle to bold, all on the same price list, so choosing a bolder shade does not change the price of a shellac or gel manicure.
