Why You Should Use a Hair Salon
The history of how the salon came about:
The salon was an Italian invention of the 16th century, popularity of it traveled across to France throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. Most salons at that time were just a gathering of folks at ones selected house to amuse one another and to refine the taste of food and wine and to increase the knowledge of one through conversations with people through poetry readings and literary gatherings. These types of salons continued to flourish in Italy throughout the 19th century..
Not until September 10 1857 did a lady by the name of Martha Matilda Harper open the first hair salon
in Oakville, Ontario – August 3, 1950, she was a Canadian-American businesswoman, entrepreneur, and inventor who built an international network of franchised hair salons that emphasized healthy hair care.
And the rest is history…..
